I love to drive fast cars. My dream car is a Bugatti.
What makes a ‘good’ day at Petteril Bank Primary School?
Every day is a good day at Petteril Bank. As soon as you enter the building it has a welcoming feel that makes you want to come to back. What enhances this even more is the strong team of staff that we have. They strive every day to help every single on of our children to ‘be the best that they can be’. The icing on the cake is the children in our school that make every day at Petteril Bank different but every day special.
What is the best thing about being a teacher/teaching assistant?
As an Early Years teacher, the sense of pride and achievement I feel on a day to day basis when observing the youngest pupils in the school being engaged, independent and purposeful just makes my heart burst with pride. Seeing them make steps of progress every day is what makes my job the best in the world.
What wisdom would you pass on to the children in your class?
As an avid reader who loves to curl up with a good book, I also like to research children’s books that will engage and enthuse our children. With Early Years being my passion I am a big believer in bringing every area of the curriculum alive through stories. In true Harry Potter style, which is in keeping with our school theme I would pass on this quote to our children…..
