Mr Jordan’s Class
This week year 6 began our Eden Rivers Trust project down at the River Petteril. The children were river dipping to find amazing creatures. Some of the notable treasures were leeches, a stone loach, tadpoles, a scorpion beetle and much more. We also had a walk up the river to see the land use and specific river features. The project is very real and the work the children are carrying out will be used by Network Rail, the Environment Agency and the Eden Rivers Trust. We are also planning to present our findings in a video, as an assembly and as a community event here in Harraby.
